Mite Development
A qualified and dedicated coaching staff teaching skating and hockey skills through practices and small area games. Besides their regular practices and games, during the year the kids will also play some cross ice games against other organizations in the Hartford area. There will be at Hartford Wolfpack event where the kids skate for an hour before the game at the XL Center.
Ages
For kids aged 4-12 who have completed a Learn to Skate or Learn to Play Hockey program or have comparable experience (generally a previous season of skating).
When
The season begins October 21st, and practices will be held on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Evaluation Skate
We ask everyone who is interested in Mite Development and/or House League to attend TWO assessment skates. Those sessions will be the weekend of October 14-16 at time TBD. In order to be considered for House placement you MUST attend both sessions. These skates are also open to those skaters who do not wish to move up to House and can warm up for a fun season with Mite Development
Practices
Practices / Skill Development sessions are not team practices; We follow USA HOCKEY ADM model of small group (6-12 players) & station based practices for skill development.
Games
ALL GAMES are half ice, 4v4 with goalies.
