House League

Hi All:

This will be the last email from me for this season. Thank you all for making House League 2024-2025 as much fun as it has been.

First, Congratulations to the Michigan Wolverines on winning the House Cup. It took a great effort to overcome the runners up of the Michigan State Spartans. The growth of every player from the beginning of October until now is impressive and every players should be proud.

Thank you coaches for all of your efforts to make this season special for every player. It is thanks to you and your level of dedication that makes this whole thing work. You all make this league possible.

The House Cup Tournament is this Friday 3/7/24.

Puck Drops for Round 1 at 5:30. Please arrive early so that the games can run on time. There will be time for on ice pictures and medals to be given out by the coaches after teams are done competing.

The Journey to the House Cup starts Friday at 6, and will continue Saturday morning at 8:10. Practice will be everyone on Sunday 3/2 @8:10. Sunday 3/2 Green Machine at Jay Cup in Simsbury.

Hi All:

Some house keeping as our season is wrapping up.

1) I added some games for our U6, U7, and U8 players. These teams were created strictly by birthyear. All U8s were born in 2016, U7s in 2017 and U6s in 2018 and 2019. There maybe more games added but what we have is listed on the calendar.

2) There are no games on 2/21. There is no Ice time that evening either. Practice on 2/22 is at 2:50-4:50. Practice groups and times will be sent out soon.

3) The House Cup Round Robin Round will be the following Friday 2/28 and Saturday 3/1, with games scheduled each day. Sunday 3/2 will be practice as normal. The House Cup Tournament will be on 3/7 with every team playing a minimum of 2 games.

4) The Ice time that we have after that will be divided into two groups a younger group (players born in 2017,18,19) and an older group ( players born in 2016, 15,14,13,12). These groups will focus on the skills, drills and rules to prepare players for tryout season.

5) Tryouts for Central's Travel teams have been posted. Please sign up if your player is interested. If you have any questions or concerns about this process reach out to you player's coach or me.

Hi all.

I will be editing a bunch of the schedule today and tomorrow to make the website and app a bit more user friendly.

1) Friday night lights kick off this Friday 12/6. The line up of games is in the notes section of the game on the app. This seems to the be the easiest way to share game times and spots on the ice.

2) Practices times will be fixed on the calendar with teams assigned to 1st or 2nd practice on Saturdays

3) Everyone has practice for the Sunday time and that will be made clear in the notes.
